What happens in the first meeting?
The initial session is usually used to discuss your reasons for seeking therapy as well as clarify your goals and expectations. We will also discuss what approach would suit you best and whether I am the right person to work with you. If we decide to carry on working together we will agree on an initial number of sessions which we will review on a regular basis. If you are unsure about what your problem is you can still come for an assessment and we could discuss whether psychological therapy is the best way forward for you.

I am a registered provider with major private healthcare insurers in the UK.
Is the service confidential?
As a Chartered Counselling Psychologist I abide by the BPS code of ethics and provide a confidential service. I am committed to continuous professional development and carry full professional liability insurance.
What is the cancellation policy?
One week’s notice is required to avoid a full charge of the session regardless of reason.
How much do I charge?
